Alex ran and ran until his far past numb legs gave out and his face met the ground in a painful fall. alex  heard a evil laugh so he rolled over as best he could. he saw two men in armour stood two feet from where alex laid. they laugh at pointed at alex.

"Aw, look at him Jay, his sleepy!" the guard laugh and the other one did too.

"poor poor little man. let give him the royal treatment." they both walked over and one of the guards kicked alex painfully in the  stomach. Alex let out a small cry of pain making both the guards let out a fit of loud laughter again.

"awww~ did we hurt you?" the guard kicked alex again. "so sorry."

"stop that this moment!" both guards looked back and straightened up and saluted who ever it was who talked. "get away from him this instant or i will have your life." both men ran way. when they moved a tall man came into alex's view. he knelt down next to alex. "are you alright? do you need a doctor?"

alex was to deep in awe to talk. so he just stared at the deep brown eyes of the man speaking to him. the man's blonde hair fell into he's face. the man looked back to someone alex couldn't see.

"Call devin he doesn't seem well!!" the sound of running foot steps reached alex's ears. an other person came to the man's side, this one was a girl.

"My lord, shall me and kristi prepare a room for the guest?" she looked alex over with worry.

"yes krista thank you."

"should i get a guard to bring him in?"

"no thank you, krista. i'll bring him in." the girl nodded and ran away again. the man turned back to alex. "i'm going to carry you alright?" alex nodded his head as best he could and the man smile scooping alex up off the floor. they walked through a gate and alex found himself in a large courtyard. alex saw the two guards from earlier being yelled at by some other man. that man came over when he saw alex and the man carrying him.

"My lord, shall the two men be punished?"

"We'll see Ron." ron nodded and waved the two guards away.

"My lord i can take him if you'd like."

"No ron it's fine. please tell me where kristi and krista are, they were going to set up a room." the man holding alex stopped and looked at ron. ron nodded and walked past them. alex saw that they were walking in a doorway and he craned his neck to see. his eye's widened at the sight of a giant castle. the man followed ron down a hall way and ron opened a door to a beautiful room. the blonde girl from before, krista, and a girl that looked just like her were cleaning. they saw who entered and bowed. "thank you girls you may go. ron please go check on the guards i sent to get devin." ron nodded and him and the girls lift the room. the man set alex on the made up bed.

"who are you?" the man lifted his head and looked over at alex.

"so you can talk, good. I'm daichi, the prince of this castle. what is your name?" alex looked around the room before letting his eyes fall back on daichi.

"I'm alex."

"nice to meet you alex. devin should be here soon, he's a doctor, ok?" alex nodded and closed his eyes felling tired. a door opened and daichi stood from the bed.

"Where is he my lord?"

"over there, on the bed."

"it's a good thing you got to me when you did i was just about to take off." after that alex slipped into sleep.
